This was actually the 3rd of July, Terri's neighbor's had already begun the firework festivities and they were definitely not legal! But fun to watch! So, the boys played football and the girls and the kids watched fireworks from the back porch.

We tried at least 7 times to get a family picture this way, but with at least one silly face and one "Huh?" look in every single one, this is it. Our family.

God Bless America!

The clan, packed into our 3 foot stretch of sidewalk :) Terri almost got hit by a float taking this picture! Thanks Terri!

Lady Liberty herself.

After the parade. The Twins, like Hector do not like sitting in the sun-for any reason. You can see the excitement of the day on their faces ;) Oh well! That is what you get with the Harris/Johnston family!

Gabe just about had a heart
attack when we walked past a fire truck on our 2 mile hike back to our car. We had to stop and take a picture and the firemen were nice enough to stop traffic while I backed into the middle of the road to get a "good shot". My hero's!

This is
getting ready for the fireworks. Idaho Falls firework show is known as the best show this side of the Mississippi. And it is true! It was awesome! Terri made us sit in the middle of the road cause she was cold and the road was still warm...whatever! ;)
Apparently my flash is brighter than normal, that is why everyone is always groaning in my night shots.

I don't think it is too bright.

I took one picture of the fireworks just to remember. But I usually don't like pictures of them, since the picture NEVER captures the true glitter and color!
