Halloween and our Naive Neighbors

Well here he is, Wolverine himself. Most of the young dad's knew who he was, but we still have to tell some of the older people in our neighborhood :) He was going to be Spiderman, but then he saw that Wolverine had claws.

I was watching the window like a hawk starting around 5 pm. Gabe was calm and watching cartoons. I was keeping myself busy trying not to twitch with excitement. The moment the first trick or treater crossed in front of our window, we were out the door.

He loves the claws.

He wasn't quite sure what to do. He kind of understood that he should knock, and he memorized his script of " Trick or Treat... thank you"

By the 3rd or 4th house, he had it down pat.

Hector is not one for traditions. We have them for all the other holiday's but it is me who initiates and executes them. But Halloween? For Hector this is his favorite holiday, the holiday where he and his friends were let loose on the city. So, we trick or treated for 3 hours. Gabe's role was sleep on our should until he had to stand at the door. Mom then said trick or treat and thank you for him and back on our shoulders again.

But he did it. He got massive quantities of candy. And Hector got it out of his system to :)

Cute, Cute! I missed trick or treating with him this year! Trick or treating at Disneyland wasn't all we thought it would be... next year maybe he can come out here with the kids and get the FULL effect :)
