I had the most unique experience last week at McDonalds that I can't quite forget. I took the twins and Gabe there to eat dinner and play on the playground. As We were leaving the house to go I thought about what I would take and I thought "I'll just take the debit card I need and the keys. That way everything will fit in my back pocket."
So we got to McDonalds and waited in line and placed an enormously large order (13 year old's literally can eat elephants). I swiped my debit card and it said not approved. I said "That is ridiculous, try it again" and again it came back, not approved. Ha ha.....ha. So the young high school girl ever calls over her manager and HE tries it again.
Not approved.
So I am in the middle of explaining that this is a debit card. Even if there was zero dollars in my account (which there was not! ) it would approve and charge me a hefty fee! He was nodding away and this lady behind me says "Here I'll try mine" and I barely acknowledged her, in the back of my mind thinking "good idea, test the machine so they know I am right"
Approved.
I stopped for a second as she said "huh. looks like I bought you dinner" with a smile on her face. I didn't even know what to say. I stuttered a minute, and was like "no, no, you can't do that." I tried to convince the high school girl to do a return and she looked at me and said "we don't do returns".
The lady moved right on up and ordered and never looked back.
So I thought while Gabe played and finally went over to her and said "I don't know how to thank you." and she hugged me! HUGGED ME! Like I had done her a favor. I don't think I would have done that for someone. Maybe a couple dollar charge but not enough food to feed a small country. Lady, whoever you are, THANK YOU!!!!!
Goodbye, June

Got the disk today and I love them their are some really cute ones! I would really love the one of Savanna and I hugging in color if you get five seconds. I can just grab it from Laura next time I am down! David loved them and said it would be hard to just pick a couple for his desk. You did great! Thanks again Kristen
